Surgical Team
Linda Burkhart
     Linda started working with animals in 1979 by raising Bassett Hounds.  Her husband and she then moved all over the states where Linda received on-the-job training from several veterinary facilities.  She also owned a pet sitting service in Oregon.  Her husband and she moved to Billings along with their two beloved cats to be close to family and to work with us at our practice.  She has a knack for calming nervous pets and enticing them to eat.  Linda’s passion is making a difference in animals lives, birding, and tending her garden.

Hilaree Fuchs, CVT
     Hilaree had worked with exotic fowl and primates for several years before moving into the veterinary field.  She has worked in the field since 1997.  Hilaree enjoys riding horses, camping, and fishing with her family.  Hilaree’s family includes a wonderful husband, John, and two children, Wyatt and Jordyn.  They currently own four dogs, two cats, and four horses.

Stephane Stringari
     Stephane has obtained a Bachelor of Science degree (Equestrian Science) at Rocky Mountain College.  She worked with a large animal veterinarian for two and a half years as a veterinary technician and has now been with our practice since 2006.  Stephane is currently working on becoming a certified veterinary technician through Penn Foster and pursuing a specialty in emergency critical care as well as anesthesia.  She has three dogs (Minnie, Gemma, and Brittney), one cat (Smokey), and five horses.  Her family also includes her wonderful husband, Joe, and two beautiful daughters, Katlyn and Taylor.  In her spare time, Stephane enjoys trail riding her horses (Shy and Mercedes), dressage, jumping, and polo.

Angie Wolf
    
Angie has obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from MSU-B.  She has worked at the Animal Clinic Of Billings as a technician since 2001.  She is a great technician team leader and inventory manager as well as a ‘miss-fix-it’ (or ‘miss-call-who-can-fix-it’).  She loves working with the potpourri of dogs and cats that come through our practice.  She also enjoys participating in surgeries and orthopedics with Dr. Brown.  In Angie’s spare time, she spends summers at the race track with her husband.  They currently own and maintain a modified dirt bike and thoroughly enjoy NASCAR (go Jeff Gordon!).  Angie owns two cats: Maddie (aka “Half Pint”) and Shiva.

Wellness Team
Katy Cook
     Katy is currently a history major at MSU-B.  She started out as a kennel attendant here at our practice and is now a veterinary assistant.  She has a knack for animal behavior and helping make their vet visit the least stressful as possible.  Katy is very passionate about animal care and educating our clients on how to improve their pet’s quality of life.  She also loves her family and is smitten for pit bull terriers.  In her spare time, Katy enjoys bicycling, reading, movie watching, and listening to music.

Fran Faulkner, CVT
     Fran obtained an Associate degree in Applied Science from Bel-Rea Institute specializing in animal technology.  She has been a credentialed technician since 2008 but has been practicing as a technician since 2003.  Fran also has an application pending with the National Veterinary Response Team (division of FEMA) and is pursuing a specialty in Small Animal Internal Medicine.  She is currently a member of CAPC, NAVTA, and MVTA.  Her spare time is spent with her loving husband (Matt), step-daughter (Grace), four dogs (Gary, Dugan Bowser, Nemo, Dory), and hedgehog (Louis).  Fran enjoys gardening, cooking, trap shooting, sporting clays, karaoke-ing, and hostessing.

Heather Kovis
     Heather hails from Pasco, WA where she grew up on two hundred acres of wheat and cherries.  She raised and showed sheep for ten years in 4-H.  Heather came to Billings to attend Rocky Mountain College and graduated with a degree in literary studies in 2008.  She joined the staff at the Animal Clinic Of Billings in the summer of 2007 as a kennel attendant and is now a veterinary assistant.  Her free time is spent with her dogs; Major- a german shorthaired pointer, Seamus- a mix who was found in a garbage can at a day old, and Gideon- a miniature poodle.  Heather and her dogs enjoy hiking on the rims as well as rally and agility.  In addition to her canine kids, she has a cat named Mackinsea (aka- “Maki”) who rules the dogs with an iron paw.

Bonnie has worked for the Animal Clinic Of Billings since 1990.  She has been involved in the veterinary field since about 1983!  Bonnie owns one dog (Foxy) and three cats (Chester, Natasha, and Johnny).
